They're actually underpowered for several reasons: only 5 DNAs; no stuns; no crowd control; minimum range required to cast spells (you have to be 10 meters away from the target or you cant cast); long casting times on nukes and debuffs .
For Druids: cant use any of battle magician's skills while transformed ; no AoEs ; no crowd control . If you're new to the Requiem personally suggest playing another class first, because starting as a battle magician will be really frustrating . Druids at the moment currently play like underpowered Elementalists. Ele's however are extremely powerful in PvP. There are some good threads in the Requiem official forum about how to pick and choose your Battle Magician skills when building to become an Elementalist.
However, at this point in time you would recommend experimenting with skills for yourself. The Requiem community is very active but they do not seem to be as concerned with "min maxing" as other mmo communities, such as World of WarCraft where players take time and pride in finalizing and discovering the exact numbers and math used to calculate their builds and potential.
At some point soon, presumably within the next month or two, Requiem will be undergoing some major changes. Among these changes include many skills being completely removed from the classes while other skills are being changed in mechanics and/or moved to become exclusive to your final job class. Knowing this kind of major change is coming it would be reasonable to assume Gravity will provide players with one free skill reset to accommodate these major changes.

Soul Hunter: Very hard to level, weak attacks, long cooldowns on their main nukes and skills. all over very weak untill 50+, when they get to level(Requiem Powerleveling) 50 they become much more powerfull, also the only class that gets real pets (the others are almost useless) .
Dominator - a summoning class, they can summon a small army of pets and let them do all the dirty work. dominators are very weak alone without their pets however and rely on the pets to do all the fighting for them .
Defiler - an AOE class, they can trap and kill 8 enemies at a time without getting hit if played right, probably the most difficult class to get used to because they rely alot on timing and if you slip up you usually die for it, good in pvp also, unless the other side stuns you first .
Xenoa: mostly pvp oriented race, Battle magician - high magic damage and 2 long range stuns, personally think they are overpowered which is very true at low levels, at higher levels it seems to even out a bit more though. They are not welcome in most grinding parties due to a lack of AOE skills, having only 1 usefull one .
Elementalist - higher damage then druids with their nuke skills, they specialize in damage with magic attacks (shamans hit harder per strike with their main nuke though, elementalists just get a new super nuke spell, with cast time and a cooldown though) .
Druid - the shapeshifter class of the Requiem , they have less magic damage then elementalists and use shapeshifting skills, they can ether be a tank (doomguard transformation) or a mele damage dealer (Inferno transformation) although they can't max both transformations due to lack of skillpoints, so they are better off choosing one .
Hunter - Long range damage dealers, they have medium damage but very long range and high critical chance. they also have high damaging trap skills and can capture monsters as pets for short periods of time . Hunters are somewhat squishy up close and prefer to kill at long range before they are reached .
Ranger - has requiems longest range, can attack from 50 meters away, they specialize in launcher damage and range, they have crit buffs, damage buffs, and range buffs to make use of and can usually kill before they are reached .
Avenger - High burst damage from traps is this classes specialty, they have lower range and less critical chance then rangers and rely on traps for a lot of their damage. They get a skill to capture medium level monsters, although they can only capture a select few of them and no elites.

Important Skill Points in Requiem
This is about sill point inRequiem . One skill point is required to increase a skill by one level . You may view your current number of unspent skill points in the Skill Window (Default UI Shortcut: K).
Bellow lv 10 you do not gain skill points, instead you go to a temperion skill master, and get temperion skills through a talk quest. You get skills at level(Requiem Gold) 2, level 5, and level 7.
When you get Level(Requiem Powerleveling) 1: what a shame you are granted an additional 0 skill points. Don't worry .when you get Level 10: you are granted an additional 2 skill points. If you get Level 20: you will be granted an additional 2 skill points ,and when you get Level 30: you are granted an additional 2 skill points. When you get Level 40: you are granted an additional 2 skill points.
When you at Level 50: changing from your First class to your Advanced class of choice, you are granted an additional 4 skill points. When you get Level 60: you are granted an additional 2 skill points. When you get Level 70: you are granted an additional 2 skill points.

PVP Build Guide for Forsaker in Requiem
We have got many skill once you got level(Requiem Gold) 79, so most player are want to reset it to level 79. We made it with information from other players, messing with the skill calculator etc. and the goal is to make a pvp forsaker with emphasis in damage/speed.
First Shaman Skills: Dura Amulet Level 10: Extra HP's, essential for PVP. Mana Amulet Level 1: Filler. First Aid Level 10: Our only healing spell as Forsakers. Wound Care Level 1: Filler. Flame Wave Level 3: I like this one as an opening skill, decent damage thou we know it's very hard to hit multiple oponents with it.
We like to cast this while FA cools down and vice versa in Requiem. Soul Explosion Level 6: Instant cast, very long cool down, good for close range, 360o Skill. think level 6 is enough (102 damage) + 2 DNA point (+31 damage). Flame Thrower Level 1: Filler. Flame Arrow Level 10: AOE, good damage, inflicts continous damage on your opponents. Fire Ball Level 10: Main nuke, instant cast, 1 second for recast, enough said.
Shaman DNA: Strengthened Flame Arrow Level(Requiem powerleveling) 5. Strengthened Fire Ball Level 5. Strengthened Dura Amulet Level 5. Strengthened Soul Explosion Level 2. Strengthened Flame Wave Level 2.

Requiem Tips: Rage in Theme Battle
No to rage in Theme Battlefield, but something needs to be done. A level(Requiem Gold) bracket would be a start, say 1-49 and 50-79 at the least, get tired of seeing some ppl clocking up kills faster than we can make them, totally negating our hard work! The other issue is the 70+ protectors keeping there team mates alive with party heals.
You get a 76+ like Meke on the opposing side and you can hit all you like but that heal will make some people near on invincible. More often than not the team with the most 70+ protectors wins no matter how good the opposition in Requiem.
When a team is losing for more than 100 points, "maybe" a Rage level(Requiem powerleveling) 4 or 5 to give to the losing team the capacity to reduce the difference and "maybe" the "we don't like to lose and we don't know how to handle it" ppl don will pass all the time trying to log and relog from the TB to change the side.
Not in the strongest cos isn't useful in a Battlefield where all have the same OP set xD, but yes in the Hydro Theme, cos sometimes is anoying when you try to left the spawn zone and you're in the midle of 2 or 3 ToS and see 5 or 6 "red" names waiting for the lambs.
In the tree map isn't necesary cos is a small map and everyone have the oportunity to inmediatly strikes back when the one to kill you still is in the area cos' don't have much ground to move.
Rage is'nt OP for the ocasions when a team is losing for slaugther xD we are not saying that RAGE is right or wrong, just try to interpret the initial post. Maybe have a level5 Rage for 10 or 15 secs only when you start the Battlefield only for the time to leave the starting area, either just started or have been killed, to avoid the spawn zone camping.

Rangers:
have longer attack range that48m vs.SR's 40m at the current level(requiem powerleveling)cap.
have many attack buffs to augment damage,range and speed level(requiem lant).
have access to a few traps that helpful as instant armor ignoring damage,but usually too costly in skill points to invest in much.
have more ranged versatility that long range stuns and snares that SRs lack.
have stealth detect that will eventually be able to see an assassin before it can even scud you.
So both classes are at home out of everyone else's casting range,but rangers have a slight advantage over SRs in that regard.However,SRs are a much more engaging and active class,requiring you to focus more on your positioning and surroundings than a ranger,who basically just stands there playing duck hunter with all the jumping moving targets in the distance.Both are very powerful classes that do well in any of the battlefields,so it basically comes down to what style you prefer.SR can play like a ranger and it just kind of beating people down with range advantage and that can also mimic assassins with a guerrilla style hit and run,gunning down one target and dashing away before his group even realizes what happened.
